@ZW: are you sure you connected the speedo to correct slot (channel 2) and correct polarity to receiver?
Because what you describe happens if there is no signal from receiver! Doublecheck those connections first, maybe swop servo and speedo quickly to see if channel 2 works fine.

Picked me one these up today. I love that it's one the smaller ESC's too. ALot better then my tc spec I have too.

So, going run it mainly in 13.5 and mod. WHat seems to be the best profile for 13.5 outside asphault tracks and being about 100 deg weather days.

thanks,

Edited: Well after reading the pages here, seems like profile 10 for 13.5 with the 5degs timing would be the best best. Maybe dropping a tooth or two too.

Hi was just wondering if anybody knows what the timing modes convert to in degrees from 1-5 also does the sxx have the variable timing like the stock spec does. I am running 10.5 and was wondering what would be the best setup for my speedo

The unit seems to power up, fan comes on, blue LED comes on, I'm able to get into the power profile setup, but that's it.

Thanks!
Are you are using a new RX and it is 2.4ghz, did you remember to bind it?

Hmmm.... just got my new SXX TC, and there is no warranty card in the box .... anyone notice this? A mate of mine didn't get one either in his SPX box. Just wondering if this would be an issue at all?

@jrxs-r: that is correct that SXX does not include blue limited-lifetime warranty card anymore as all the new competition speed-controls are no longer covered by that special warranty but only with regular warranty terms.

@sukh: I guess you'll be better off with the SPX StockSpec for 10.5t.

Burrito-

will spx/sxx have issues with single cell voltage applications?does the timing advance or punch still work in single cell 1/12th cars or does the esc start sensing low voltage and limit the timing advance in this low voltage application??? even thou single cell lipo has not gain momentum as wellas 17.5/13.5 in europe this application is going very strong here in states. what say you with regards to this type of racing and esc update??

SXX series speedos do of course have a LiPo cut off function, but it's for 2S cells only and not for 1S.
So, if you use 1S you should disable LiPo cut-off (value #2 in mode.1) and simply stop running when car get's very slow.

Hi Burito,

Planning to get the SXX TC to match with LRP X12 6.5t. What's the best profile to use? Track size is around 40+' x 100-120'.

Thanks
