I don't know if these two are the same seller but they seem to have the upgrade chassis in stock on ebay. Looks to be at least six available between the two sellers~!

I guess so, after all we are talking about a chassis released when I was still in middle school.

I have owned and raced, and still race, a Tamiya TA-05 v2 chassis and I have never had any chassis binding issues ever, nor have I ever seen a TA-05 chassis "bending like a banana" not ever. What makes you say this?

It was during the 2018 tcs final when i saw one. That gentleman (name should be Wayne ) sitting in front of me had a ta05v1 with a very noticeable bend on its lower deck. Maybe its not that exaggerating, but im sure i saw it. I remembered that chassis till this day because it was running ta04 style suspension, had a bent lower deck and was driving by a man who was three times elder than me .

I installed the toe control that was bought for my TRF420. I installed the same RF and RR suspension holders and flipped the RF. 3mm spacer between the chassis and bridge with a long screw to attach the ball ends. This is just a way I did it if you are planning to install the toe control. Not sure about the tub chassis though

Digging the black! May or may not steal that lol. You think the flipped bridge offers anything in terms of lessoning flex?

The flipped bridge was common with a few TAMIYA kits back in the day before split blocks. It was actually in the build instructions. It's still strong but just remember to check the screws time to time

Also after hard crashes, dont forget to check if the block is bent. I lost 3 1c blocks on my 417x before had enough and moved to split block.

Debating on replacing the turnbuckles with a black set from PSM or leaving the TAMIYA blue. So bored these days
