Here in Cali, at least in Orange County/San Diego area, we adapted the name change from RCGT to GT10 to simplify the GT classes. WE now have GT12(mini 2wd and 4wd), GT10(formerly RCGT) and GT8(Buggy based 8th scale onroad chassis). Still the same rules but much more simplified.
-EP 190/200mm chassis
-17.5 NON Boosted esc
-Realistic GT style Body
-Spoked wheels
-OPEN TIRES and INSERTS
We have found that the Xpattern Pro non belteds are still the tire of choice for the fast guys, but having the option to try other tires makes it much easier. We get about 2-3 heats of GT10 on a good day and about 7 cars on a slow day.

Hi, After finally getting a new HPI BMW M3 body after waiting for more than a month. The quality of the body and graphics are excellent and
a more scale appearance than the Tamiya body. Only drawback is that
if you mount on a 190 mm chassis like I did you will have to get some
offset wheels 6-9 mm to fill the wheel wells adequately. I have ordered them
to see the final fit. Very happy with the results. Regards
