Thanks for the tip(literally) and I wanted to buy your F10 exotek but I guess someone beat me to it, I'm hoping to find another one as nice as yours!

Here is my bad boy.

For carpet I moved the steering knuckle link to the inside hole and picked up .5 seconds by doing that.

Nothing else can touch it so far

Maybe, but I'm gunning for you next time Oh wait, my car is an exact replica of yours .... does that count ?

You gonna run in the UF1 Winter series ? Did some testing (rubber tires) this week at TQ and the car runs well, with a little more off power steering it should be great.

I should see you then for a few of the series races! I think Hiro might be there too.

More off power steering- unthread the ball cup on the center shock a few turns. Move ball end on steering knuckle to the inside hole.
I'm going to be playing around with some front tires too. The option soft does seem to push just a touch.

the other day I tried to put on the arm stoppers and my angle of turning was decreased dramatically. I noticed that MikeR isnt running them, and abailey was. im just concerned that with that much turn radius, donuts and spinouts are imminent.

mike, I also like your idea about the hole in the ball cup for making it easier to move/remove.thanks!

way cool. what tires and what wheels are on the car in the photos? My exotek formula 10 is about ready to see some track action. I just need tires. So I could use some suggestions about which ones fit well and work well.

whatever your stocker runs. I personally converted to foams, and use f104 wheels/tires.

thats not my car, but If i am not mistaken, they are hpi wheels and foams from some other brand f104 foam tires DO NOT fit the f10.the f103 foam tires DO. WITH THE FOAM WHEEL CONVERSION!. if you get the foam wheel conversion, you can fit f103, f104 and f10 wheels. on mine, i have f10 chassis w/ foam conversion with f104 wheels/rubber tires. I had F10 wheels and f103 tires, but the local track does not allow foam tires in the series.

No one has yetto answer my question!

when i installed the stoppers, they dramatically reduce my steering. i noticed on my f103gt my steering angle was much greater.

The Yeah stoppers are too big. Just use a 3mm screw with a m3 nut and stacked m3 spacers. Wheels will stop at just the right angle. I ran at a track with plastic boards that the foams tires kept sticking into so I had to put the stoppers on for now too.
