Hi Adam,
I think most of the problem stems from the metal swivel cup in the lower front arm- they pinch the shaft then suddenly release under normal driving. Delrin pivot cups are sorely needed.
For now I coat them with silicone (clean and reapply every week) and have installed Speedmerchant damper tubes with a custom rocker mount on the arm. The tubes need to be shortened a bit. Cool thing is it seems like only the HPI can run this mod and I've noticed it really helps out the bounciness the car had before...

Yesterday was RC F1 race in Moscow on the Kievsky track.
The track was wet.
HPI F10 was very fast and stable in these conditions, in comparison with Tamiya f103, and i easily won this stage
