If you're running rubber, get the S-Grips.

Hi,

with rubber tires you should also try S on the front and M on the rear,
this works really good. In this way you get a bit more steering without loosing
grip on the rear.

If it's quite cold use S-Tires front and rear.

Kind regards,

Beautiful car. Looks like an actual team livery.

So how did it compare to the F104?

And how did you attatch the front wing?

First look at the car with high nose (as same as real F1)
The car is so much easy to setup and drive compare with the F104.
Front wing install is very easy just mount the wing to the last hole of the high nose and tighten the screw, use the front hole of the high nose for guiding to drilling the wing (make sure the wing straight before you drill it.). I added spacers between the high nose to lower the wing.

I used Duratrak 1800 2S. The chassis is made by Exotek. I'll post few picture later today without the body.

Hi Calvin,
It was great to see you at the track last Sunday. Wow! your car looked super cool both on the pit table and on the track!

I highly recommend you to try the gold springs that should help you. Also, you might want to play some with ackerman adjustment.

Please let me know if there is anything i can do for you.
See you soon at the track!

Thank you.

Rainer,
I don't think the F60 body will fit the kit chassis.
I run Novak Ballistic 21.5
Here are the pictures of my F10.

The F10 is not good for bashing, if you love the open wheel then go for it. You should get the Touring Car is good for bashing around.

Thanks again Hiro,
I changed the steering rods to the front holes. You could see in the picture.
I ordered couple set of the S/M tires and the springs yesterday, hope they will come before this Friday.

Nice pics! Thank you!

Another question. The holder for the 1/18 Lipo is optional. is there also the Body post holder without the holders for the standrard 2S Lipos included, or have you cut the holders of?

On the Exotek HP you can find the following test:

"MAX BATTERY SIZE 34X25X88MM. REQUIRES CUTTING OFF OF THE FX10 ‘WINGS’."

How long is the runtime with the 1/18 Lipo?

You have to cut the battery holders (wings) to fit the F60 body.
The battery run time is 6-8 minutes race.
