A couple of questions about your clevland set up. Why did you shorten arms (4mm shims) in front of the car and then equal spacers on the rear arms? Also why use shims on the shocks instead of using more droop? Last what are the stiffness of the gray and brown springs?
thanks
keith

I never really thought about it to make the dog bones strait. Which dogs are you using? I have tried the aluminum but they don't last. They wear quick?

My problem actually is that I have to much grip. I have been having some problems with traction rolling. I'm using orange and yellow springs in rear. I think most of it is the springs are to soft? Any ideals?

Thre was a link somewhere in the massive pages of posts that is on this thread...but I had ran the paper copy off and found that the Front Spring on Chris's Carpet setup is listed at 32lbs and the rear spring is listed at 26lbs. They are current product made by yokomo for the gas car.

kt the brown is the stiffest spring in the yokomo chart and
grey next to it. also the spacer Chris T. used outside the shock
body (upstops) or bumpstop what ever the term is should help
get rid of traction rolling.

the spring you are using is about 15 and 17 lb. you need to use about 25 to 40 lb.

Sweet, good thing to know, thanks Chris.

You gonna run this weekend at T4T, or just hang out?

I'd like to know about the body too. I'm gonna run mine tomorrow on carpet. I'll stick with my setup. That-a-way I can compare it to my Alfa 2.0.
