how would be the turning if u put a one way in the front and a solid axle in the back like in similarities
thanx

anthony390 09-14-2005 07:49 PM

for more top end u would like a smaller spur and bigger pinnon if u can't buy a new motor right

scotty5555 09-18-2005 08:11 PM

nurning would be really hard, or i would think. if the rear wheels are always spinning at the same speed then it will keep pushing the car forward, and yes a smaller spure and a bigger pion will give u more top end.

if somone has a tc3 with carbon graphit chassis for around 100-150 lmk
thanks
scott

oh cuz what i thought is since u put the one way int he front it would even out the stress that the wheels recive and so it would act like two open differential again just faster any whay thanks

Hey, have any of you guys used a BMI center brace for your TC3 tub chassis? I was just wondering 'cause I just did the battery and NTC3 swing rack mod to my chassis and I'm wondering if the center brace will really help much. Thanks!

NTC3 Swingrack vs. TC4 SwingRrack for the TC3

One more question, is it true you lose steering radius with the NTC3 swing rack modification? Also, some guy at another website suggested that I use the TC4 swingrack instead. Is there a tutorial on putting the TC4 swingrack on the TC3 or is it basically the same holes used at the NTC3 swingrack

anthony390 09-19-2005 09:27 PM

yea it would help actuelly i am about to install it on my tc3 and well i dont know about that ntc3 steering radius but if u want my pinion... other than the way you install it it should be just the same as the ntc3 and tc4 i think that because if the wheel base and the width is the same then it should work just right so in other words its the same but that only what i think

anthony390 09-19-2005 09:32 PM

who here :tire: DRIFTs :tire: with there Tc3's
and if you do u should make the shocks of the rtr tc3 into air shocks and then put blue springs on the front and rear and then just stiffin it until it is about i millimeter shorter than the lenght of the spring and use anti-roll bars for even better drifting i tried it out on both smooth and bumpy surfaces and is GREAT

Aries326 09-19-2005 10:28 PM

I drift with my Factory TC3. I use the silver spring in the front and green in the rear. I haven't tried it with swaybars yet. Did you put them in the front and back? How are your quick transitions? Do yo use balldiffs in front and back? Hey, anthony390, what drifting website are you on?

anthony390 09-20-2005 03:01 PM

yea me too but i changed the shaft and batt. strap to Griphite because its a waste of wieght, rotation mass and battery life so ya and i put both sway bars on the front and back but i took it off because i wanted more of a challenge and inertia transitions are practiclly nothing to worry about because if its slower than u will have higher angles in the drift if u delay your counter steer. In the other hand faster transitions will alow u to drift the corner for as log as u want so what I would do is keep all the blue alu. screws but all the screws on the bottom make them steel for lower center of gravity and for the diff mine are the stock but just barly looser in the front so that the majority of the torqe (WHICH U SHOULD LOVE IN DRIFTING  ) and accel. is in the back and will act like a 4WD/RWD
