can someone tell me what i need to convert my TC3 steering to the NTC3 steering and the part number would be helpful cheers
|
From Associated, you will need parts bags #2229 (swing rack hardware) and #2228 (swing rack). If you want your steering rack to be on bearings instead of bushings, you will need the parts bag #1714 (NTC3 swing rack bearing kit).
Copied and pasted this from my site that I made almost three years ago. I hope the part numbers are still the right ones. |
just found out my bearings are binding against the steering rack.......what can i do? its binding at the pleace where the whole is for the ball screw link...but i looked at it...and the ball screw is not going through into the steering rack..what do i do?
|
Buy bushings, they are ultimately smoother. And it might just be one of the bearings in that one spot, I had the same problem.
