racer- that could have done it for sure

I was just wondering what milling the chassi, so batteries sit closer to the center line helps. I have been debating on weather or not to try this, is there a big advantage?

I have been racing for many years, and have a pretty good handle on driving. I am just not a big fan of cutting on the chassi if there is no big gain.

Thanks

I ahve it done to my car. It seems to be a bit more balanced on the weight scales. Other than that I didnt really notice a huge difference in handling.

Moving the batteries over helped the side to side transitioning a lot. the car changes direction a lot faster and more predictably with them moved over. I love the way it works.

If you only do one mod. mill the chassi. Just like what jkerr0043
said it helps the car transition, alot faster. Works great all around. You can really tell on high bite tight track.

What's a spool? And also what is all the hype with running the rear shock tower on the front? It gives more steering by allowing more of an upright placement of the front shocks? thanks

im also not a big fan of taking out material from the chassis, so i didn't, my friend did and it was a definite improvement, like what the others said, the transitioning was better... for me unless im really desperate to look for the few additional seconds off my time, i wouldn't.
