Default Dumas Arms short term test

Hello,

I ran the Dumas-Delrin arms yesterday and they performed great!! I used the steering knuckles in Losi Castor blocks (stronger than Associated ones) and car steered consistently. I also used the new camber link position on the rear hubs with good results. I was on the way to a TQ in 19 turn Touring when glitching took me out of the race. I also finshed second in A-mains in both Stock and 19 turn yesterday. So I am very happy with the Dumas parts. And they do have near zero slop, but do not bind!!! Its nice stuff.

Thanks, found the info I was looking for on the conversion. My car has been really good to me the last month or two since I first began experimenting with all the changes so I will keep on making them. Thanks to all who post pics and take the first plunge.

well i tryed the milled center brace mod yesterday, and had good results with it. the car felt more responsive through the chicanes. although i had newer tires on the car and did not get a chance to true them down i also did not limit my droop as much as i should have for the larger tires so the car could have been better. so before my next outing im truing the tires down a few millimeters and limiting a little more droop all around then car to get it a little closer to my previous setup before i milled the center brace.

ray sounds good about the arms. im stuck between getting some new cells or the dumas arms and knuckles. decisions decisions.

I hope to get my arms this week when I get home from the holidays. They were suppoe to go out last Thursday or Friday but I don't think that he got them out. I may try them once but then not use them until Snowbirds.

Default fan type and battery?

I have been running my TC3 (19 turn and stock) for a while now and noticed that MVP's 2 gears under p2ks run about 200 F so i thought i would use a fan, what fan do you use and what type of battery do you use, I should have enough space because i have some of the smallest elctronics available (GM V8 (same size as V12 with less profiles) and KO micro reciever(smaller than XXL))

Default Warpspeed Demon TC3

I would like to appolagize for my comments about the IRS chassis in my previous post. They make excellent products. I was merely trying to point out the difference in their products and ours. It just came out kind of harsh.
With that said, I wanted to address the freeing up the drivetrain issue. Warpspeed racing will soon have available trans cases that are worked over and will make your drivetrain super free. The cases get bolted together and the bearing journals get matched and enlarged slightly. They will also be fitted with heli coil threaded inserts. This will make them very strong and the cases wont strip or wear out from assembly and disassembly from maint. You will also be able to tighten the upper section of the trans case without binding up the drivetrain instead of running them loose and potentially tweaking the suspension mid run.
