will it be safe to say, that using Ti as hinge pins will not be that pratical because of frictional wear?

wanted to get Ti hinge pins for my kits but if the cost is to much against the longevity of the product then it will not be worth it.

I was thinking of getting titanium hinge pins for my tc3. But I didn't have enough money at the moment . Mabey the wear on the hinge pins would be ok because it's plastic on metal. The plastic would probaly wear out first. Mabey I'll just stick with the steel hinge pins .

I have heard nothing but bad things about titanium hinge pins in the TC3. On the flipside though, I have Titanium Racing hinge pins in my NTC3, and they hold up very well. They are much larger in diameter though. I wanted them in my TC3 also, but was told by just about everyone I race with to use the BRP hardened pins. I have not bent one of these yet.

Check out all the weight I had to add to my car to meet the min 50oz for the CRL Toledo race. I put 3/4oz on top of the servo, 1-1/4oz behind the ESC, then I had to add the nickle on the battery strap. I couldn't believe how much lead you need to make up 2oz!

one of my friends put titanium hinge pins in his tc3 and put a 90 degree bend in 2 of them!! and he didnt even hit that hard just a couple of small hits was all it took. i dont think ill go for the titanium. he must have hit just the right way.

The battery brace can be bought from PArma PSE. Sweet aint it??? Light and ultra stiff. I love mine.

Also-Pro-Match Panis-Tons of PUNCH!!! I cannot beleive people dont know how good those batteries are!! My car at Champs went through Tech at 50 oz exactly for the main with Panis in!!!!

If Panasonic stops making batteries-its gonna suck since this is the best battery they ever produced!!!

But foam-gasket (industrial seal) works great!

BTW Mike looks nice.
Did you notice any difference in handlang?
Which o fthese 2 cuts, balances the car the best?
