I have a question.
I have Reventon Pro 1.1 ... I bought it from RC Mart Hongkong. How to enable reverse function ? I have the program card ( transparent blue box ) .... however I cannot change the inside menu option to forward, brake, reverse. You probably have to change the firmware first using the Software on a PC. Andre |

Hi Guys,
i have a Reventon S with Competition 3.0S 3500kv. I know there is cogging a low speed; is there a way to fix it? Which is the best firmware and settings to don't have cogging? Thanks Found no way to get rid of the low speed cogging. Use cheap Hobbywing clone now for my sensorless motors and it is almost gone. Also the break delay is gone, which is always present in speedpassion esc when used in combination with sensorless motors. Andre |

I have a new Reventon R esc and a new 17.5 V3
that I am using for drifting My esc came with a blue box that lights up red digital numbers can u please explain to me the drift software? What does it do? How does it perform? Can I put drift software on my esc with the box that I have? thanks You should be able to update the Firmware using the PC Software and the included Smart LED Programmer Card via the included usb cable. But with the correct gearing you can use it as it is. Andre |

Forward, brake, reverse function is only available in some of the available firmware's. being : Drift, Rock Crawler and Modify0 firmware.
You probably have to change the firmware first using the Software on a PC. Andre So ... I have to download new firmware ( modify 0 ) from speed passion.net .... flash it into the program card .... and flash it again into ESC .... and then I can select reverse function. Is this what you are reffering .? |

Hello,

Is this what you are reffering .? Firmware is loaded directly into the ESC from the PC Software, which includes the latest versions of the available firmwares. Settings can be set directly from the PC Software. Settings for the firmware in the ESC can then be altered later via the PC Software or via the program box without the connection to the PC. You should not connect the ESC to any LIPO when connecting it to the PC and never disconnect the ESC while updating the firmware. Andre |

Which car ?
I once had a shaft driven car with the diffs mounted opposite what is normal for most cars. Most sensored esc motor combinations will not work in these cars. Andre |
OK many thanks Elctr0n

Helion Dominus 10SC. I have a new transmitter arriving tomorrow. I will keep you all posted.
Found these Specifications for the Helion Dominus 10SC : > LiPo Compatibility: 2S > Motor: 550 21T Brushed (Reverse Rotation) > Battery: 1800mAh 8.4v High Output 7 Cell NiMH > Gear Pitch: 32 Pitch > Wheels: 12mm Hex (24mm OS, TRX and KYO Compatible) > Length: 540mm (21.26in) > Height: 215mm (8.46in) > Width: 290mm (11.42in) > Wheelbase: 327mm (12.87in) > Weight (approx): 2545g (5.61lb) > Internal Gear Ratio: 3.1:1 I think your problem is in : >>> Motor: 550 21T Brushed (Reverse Rotation) <<< Bought a cheap offroad once with the same problem. Wondered why the car was slower with a modified brushed motor. Due to timing on the endbell the Modified motor got real hot and could not run properly. Sold the car with a brushless sensorless combo. A solution is, disconnect the sensor cable and switch the rotation direction by switching for example the A and C wires on the motor. ( do not connect a sensor cable when the motor cables are switched because this could fry your ESC and motor ) >> edit Attachment shows rear diff is opposite normal on/off road car position. maybe it is possible to flip both the rear and front diff ? << edit Andre |

I do not think that will solve your problem.

I knew about the rotation of the diff's. I ASSUMED... that since my Hobbywing and Radient ESC's worked and had cw/ccw options that the SpeedPassion would also. The diff bodies are not interchangeable. Sounds like I will have to use sensorless mode. I did that originally, but the tech at SP said it was the transmitter. SO, I hope we (you and me) are both wrong, though I am sure we are right. Take care, Pete |

Take care, Pete Using them in reverse direction with the sensor cable attached would create the same problem i had with my brushed motor "ages" ago. I think the cw/ccw option is a nice feature for sensorless use but not ideal for sensored use, due to this mechanical timing on most sensored motors. Andre |

More you than me. :) The final fix was to go sensorless and swap out two of the esc to motor cables. A little bummed, but knowledge acquired. Most importantly, I can finally run it! :) Thanks again, |
can somebody help me pls! I have been trying to find the iphone reventon app but it looks like it has been taken down from the app store! also i've been trying to get the pc update software to work but sofar its been an absolute nightmare. I think the esc is superb but to ship it without reverse is such a bad idea.
does anybody know where to find the iphone app??? |
I have only seen it on the SP website.
|
yes and when you click on the app on the sp website it goes to iTunes and then says its been deleted from the app store....
|
well the mystery is solved. it is not available for iOS 7 or windows 8. ...... great hurry up and update the support pls!
