Hi All Speed Passion Guru's. I have a revention 1.1 pro 2 cell ESC and the website says it can run 1 cell as well. Has anyone run 1 cell lets say a 1/12 scale before and is there anything i would have to do like run the RX of a booster battery etc or is this built in like other ESC that run 1 cell.
Thanks guys.

The REVENTON PRO 1.1 EX is the only one that will run 1s without booster or receiver pack. All others will need it. I'm currently trying the EX NOW. Will race it in a few weeks at a club race and post feedback. I have it in a WGT 1S with speed passion 13.5 motor.

Nice thanks for the reply. We have been running blinky 10.5 in 1/12 here and my old speed passion is down on power. The orca speedie is much quicker so I hope this speedie will work and kick some butt

Yes. I've tested and run 12th mod with it. Both an Rx 2s lipo pack, and a TQ Booster will work. The unusual thing that you must do with the Rx pack is to simply plug it directly into the power slot of your Receiver WITHOUT cutting/removing any of the wires on either the speedo or the Rx pack. Simply plug it in (of course this is assuming that your Receiver can handle 7.4v!!!!!!), and turn the unit on and off using the Rx pack switch.

For the Booster you have to connect it to the positive/negative battery terminals on the esc and then plug it into your receiver. Just like the above notation concerning the use of an Rx pack, do NOT cut any of the wires to either the esc or the booster. Simply plug the booster into the power slot of your receiver. Then, just like you would do for an Rx pack, turn the esc on using the booster switch.

BTW LRP X20 motors have the same issue as Viper motors with having to remove the temp sensor wire from the sensor harness.

It might sound stupid but: is the servo reversing for your throttle channel (ch2) on your transmitter setup right? Try flicking it the other way and re-calibrating the ESC.

it seems like you need to calibrate your ESC?

Its works great in TC. Plenty of customers running the EX or the same reason.... Black color.

Hello Guys,

I have just purchased a Reventon Pro ESC + v3.0 4.5r Motor combo for my touring car.

I have run hobby wing in the past and thought i would give this ago for the $.

Are there any issues that i should be aware of before i install this combo.

I have read a few threads and people have had various issues. Im hoping to have none

Im a speed passion virgin so ... be easy on me

My son and I both ran our 1/10 scale buggies last night with the SP Reventon-R and 10.5R combo's and we LOVED them, lots of speed, cool motor/esc temps, no problems.

Hi All,
Has anyone experienced an instance with their Reventon Pro 1.1 where the esc shuts off and when you try to power it back on it lights up when you press the button, but doesn’t stay on? It happened to me and I unplugged the battery and plugged it back in, tried a different battery and it kept doing that. I plugged it into the PC to reflash it and it was showing 1.5V as the input. I reflashed it and, on the bench, it seems fine now. I’m planning on sending it back, but just curious if anyone else has seen this before? Could the caps be going bad?

Thanks,
Jose

Hey, I have a question about adjusting the timing in Speed Passion motors mainly the 21.5 Competition V3. I know to change timing you must buy a different sensor. If I bought the +20˚ green sensor would it be 20˚ moved to the right all the way or is the sensor itself +20˚?
