Is it worth getting this rotor for 1/12 or just still with 12.3mm sized ones?
Running on tight tracks here.
I have to say, for an old school vehicle I am using (Losi JRX-S Typer R), it handles extremely well.
Oh, I also tried out the 1 cell 17.5 I was having issues with, the track I was practicing at though is swinging double duty for the owners HVAC business so was not ideal, but the motor with same gearing that I had at the previous track and the new timing board, 20 degrees, came off ice cold. So glad that this appears to be fixed now.

Any estimate on when more of the super 7 12.5mm rotors will be in stock?

wonder if the 12.5mm rotor is the hot ticket, maybe a version can be made that comes with it out of the box.

I got a question on reventon setup item, for max rpm like 150k 140k if I lower them down to 120k with everything else constant, my car will get slower at the end top speed right? I just trying to keep the temp lower by reducing max rpm without changing anything else

does this rotor work well with the 17.5 motors? in non-boosted t/c racing, we are looking for ANYTHING that will help give an edge...

They are just as fast if not faster than anything out there. Just find the sweet spot in gearing for your vehicle remembering that not all motors can be geared the same.

1C105V3 Competition V3.0 1 Cell Motor - 10.5R. 12-15º minimum and 22-25º maximun.
138105V3 Competition V3.0 Brushless Motor - 10.5R. 12-15º minimum and 22-25º maximun.
SP000037 1/10 Competition MMM series 10.5R Brushless Motor. 23-26º minimum and 32-35º maximun.

Don't forget, you have to work with the gearing...and rollout.

It will have lower TURBO timing after the WOT. yes, it should lowered the temperature....also try go 1T smaller.

Also, watch your Brake & Drag brake settings. With the 12.5mm rotor, you should be able to turn these settings down compared to the stock rotor. This also helps to keep the motor heat lower.
For 17.5, I think I like the 12.3mm silver/purple rotor better in the MMM. For our carpet track, this rotor with an FDR of 4.5 and yellow timing board set to the middle has worked very well.

I have been all over the map with Blinky 21.5 for USGT. The setup Solara posted here has worked very well for me and matches my driving style. 6 minute race will have motor temps at 150F (w\ fan) and the 8 minute mains I see 160F. Both cases I experience no motor fade and have equal or better pace against the current crop of other 21.5 motors.
Also, watch your Brake & Drag brake settings. With the 12.5mm rotor, you should be able to turn these settings down compared to the stock rotor. This also helps to keep the motor heat lower.
