From what i have read from the team wave forum, there "timing shift" setting is just a way to advance the timing in the esc. From my above post it "appears" the gt2 has something similar, like shawn mentioned, yet it does not have the turbo function.
Not everyone can afford to buy as many speedo's as they want, and test them all, i'm happy with the gt2, I'm not the one going on about what i think is best, my point has been that Irgo has being going on insisting that speed passion must do this and that in their firmware. Either way, im done debating over this, so lets get back to the thread at hand. |

esc timing and motor timing is the same, it's a fixed timing.
they work's the same based on sensored position. when the fixed motor timing is adjusted/set phisically, the esc will add more timing depend on motor timing you set it, and how many esc timing you set. so it's like motor timing + esc timing = total timing. therefore some factory would recomend linear motor right now, do to some knowledge about this. to avoid over timing. some factory will add limited motor timing adjustment, to avoid the over timing. hope this will help. In general its best to use zero motor timing (or what is inicated as zero) on any motor and use the speedy for top end. Only use the motors timing adjustment "IF" you can't get enough out of your motor with the speedies maximum settings. That said there will always be negatives to using too much timing.

Whoever said stock racing is cheap should try it with a 3200mAh old lipo and and old ESC :D. Out to buy a speedpassion ESC and a 50C lipo :sweat:

I just want to post in and say that Schumacher customer service (distributor of Speed Passion) get's a HUGE thumbs UP from me.
I purchased one of the original Grand Turismo brushless ESCs a year and a half ago, and never had a chance to use it. When I pulled my gear out of storage, and tried to use it in WGT (with a 1C 3.7v LiPO), I was getting a strange acceleration hesitiation. Figuring that I was well outside of my warranty period, I sent it down to Adam and crew just to see if there was something stupid I was doing. Without prompt or argument, a week later, a small box appears at my door. A brand new ESC! While I have to say "your results may vary", I have to give mad props to those guys! |

i have a quick question i have just replaced my sp 10.5 with the new 3.0 10.5 and first impressions are it is great but should i alter my gearing to suite this new motor ?? i am running an SPX speedo on prorgam 7 and i seams to sing well :sneaky::sneaky: |
