Hi there, need so help with the new MMM 4.5 i run firmwear 205 with 8.1 ratio on a tamiya trf416x. default esc setup and the engine got 105ºC with a outside temp 32ºC. The engine doesnt run and get hot, wanna try the mod 119 or something that the engine will run and dont get hot, i have a 3.5 v3.0, want to try it to but need some lights on esc setup, firmwear, timing on the motor, and final gear please, i dont understand i tryied an 5.5 v3.0, whith timing on motor on max, esc setup almost everything on max whith 119 mod, and on final 5minutes the engine was on 75ºC. But the engine dont have power on exit courner. Need to do the same on temp whith a powerfull engine. Thanks in advance.
There are couple boost MOD setup there...they used 323stock for the MOD engine now. Also, there are some setting couple pages down the road were using the 528stock setting with 4.5 motor and have great result, give that a try.

they are very good and I enjoy that online chat feature.
the only thing I would like to see them improve is there warranty length to an industry leading time, or at least match the industry leaders at 1 year in length. That was the main argument someone gave me as to WHY they won't buy a Speed passion setup. Current warranty I think is the shortest of all the big players.
Ironically other than the Silver Arrow I melting down and taking a lot of my stuff with it that Shawn Palmer made me whole again from, I have had zero issues with my Speed Passion stuff.
As a suggestion for the 1/8 crowd, if a Silver Arrow III is in the works, would love to see it in a smaller footprint setup ala MMP. That is the main reason I don't have the SAV2 in my vehicle right now.

I am considering purchasing 2 MMM in an 8.5 or 9.5 configuration. Is there any benefit when you run mod for timing on the motor itself when you can set values on the ESC (two SP GT2.0s, Pro and LPF).
still trying to decide between the $60 V3.0 and the $77 MMM . Is there that much of a benefit between the two for mod?

Red boards are +10 or 11-20*
Green boards are +20 or 21-30*
MMMs come with a red board.
New +30 (and possibly +40) boards are in the works but waiting for ROAR approval. They will be different colors yet. Nice color system for easy identification.

However, it is almost impossible to provide a 1 year warranty of racing products. I actually don't see any industry standard on racing RC products that provide more then 120 days warranty. (Yes, I have checked all the big boys brand...) If you registered your SP ESC thru our website, you will get the bonus 30 days warranty that is = 120 days for our entire line of ESC.
Motor is the different thing...it is just way too easy to fried a motor. However, we do listen to our customer and we do provide the necessary service and warranty with special case. Which I did alot..........I know 1 thing, SH_T does happen....especially when you are racing it.

Just like what Burgboyz said, MMM came with +10 (that means it adjust from 11-20*) board...not +20*. +20* board is 21-30* and is green in color.
If you are running BOOST software, I don't think you will ever need the green board. Anything beyond 20* timing on motor is for BLINKY no timing software racing.
