At the same time it really is no excuse to switch to a box that has CRAP buttons and you can look at it and see the workmanship is down.
Then I am sorry, I don't see you to be Speed Passion customer in the future then....btw, $200-300 ESC...who is buying a ESC for that price when the other brand is undercutting everyone with the silly low price?

Don't think the new one will be out till next yr. I don't buy the other brand Solara. I would not buy a brand that I have to send out of the country to get fixed.

I had heard at one time that speed passion USA warranties were up to a year on the speedos, is that true or is it some other number?

I can go thru days with you about why you should use lower GA wire...but again, we are racing toy car here. If you can afford to use the 12 GA wire, use it at the first place..........but if you are asking me will that possible to give you faster laptime or perform a noticeable different between the 14ga and 12ga wire, I would say no...

BUT.....if you are using cheap/bad 14ga wire vs the name brand high quality 12ga wire...then YES, there is a different.

BTW...what was the issue?
no issue at all, the wire i use is extremely good quality i beleive its of a reputable brand known as speed passion
no issue i was just asking after you were talking about the 12 and the 14 and then i thought maybe i should be using 12.
when i get the new SP next year when it is released i will use 12 on it.

i thought i would create a account with the link on the web site for the speed power batteries to buy some but for some reason i am unable to do so is there a problem or do i just have fat fingers or something

Not true...but we are planning to have extended warranty service that might cover your ESC for longer period....but definitely NOT 1 year.

Here is my thought about 12 vs 14....I use 14 on 12th car because of the low profile body and also I want a more loose wire so the rear pot of the 12th scale can rotate better......12ga is just too much for the little car.

I use it on buggy because it is buggy...it does not really need all the juice 110% on it.....easier to solder.

However, on ON ROAD...even running stock.......I just don't want to "think" I am 0.1s slower then the other cars because I am using 14ga and he is using 12ga. So I use 12ga at the beginning especially when we are all running BOOST stock............now on blinky, it does not make much different no more. But again....if I decided to use MOD motor on the same car and same esc, I don't have to worry about redo my wire from 14ga to 12ga because I have to run mod...

If you have the time to do it...do the 12ga, just don't expect it will make a different phyically.

Speed Power is a seperate site then Speed Passion, please create another username (different then Speed Passion) and sign up again...however, you will not get the USA PRICE from Australia and you have to click on the WORLDWIDE site.
