Hey Guys,
Its time for a new 17.5 to run boosted in my TC... I did a quick search on this thread and found that the 1cell is a little better then the normal v3.... How does it compare to the MMM in the boosted classes? I like the weight of the 1cell... are they more fragile? ie will they smoke  Where I run we often get motors 70-80 degrees C (Large outdoor track plus its summer... Track temps up around 60deg C) Its important that my next motor can handle the abuse... I'm yet to smoke a motor |

I am going to be getting a sedan running to race 17.5 and possibly mod. It will be raced on carpet and asphalt. My question is, is there a esc that will work well with the power band of a spec motor and mod motor. I guess the GT would be the speedo I and for a TC? And where can I get SP esc's, no one has then in stock.

I have an SP V2.1EX. I use it in a 1S 1/12TH scale car, I have been trying to put it in Blinky mode. I downloaded the 508 "No Timing" software and sent the settings to the ESC. When I turned it on I had steering, but no motor. A green light at the bottom of the ESC would go blink, blink, pause, blink, blink, pause. I could not activate the LCD programming box until I hooked up a 2S LIPO. The LIPO cell select adjustment is not operable. It is set on auto detect, but apparently does not do that. I set the voltage cut off to "No Protection". Now it runs, but the light at the bottom of the ESC does not blink. It is just steady red. With the 323 software I was able to set the voltage cut off to 3.0 and operate without any problem. What am I doing wrong?
