Well said Korey....

The new optional power cap would be the one to use for stock racing.

I notice a difference, not sure about everyone else though. The ESC will generally run a little cooler, and low-mid range throttle response will improve.

Any news on the rpm logging software?

AOD 10-28-2010 08:55 PM

I'm having trouble trying to download the 508 no timing software to my new GT2.1 EX. I hooked up the LCD programming box to the computer and speed controller, plug in the battery and when I turn on the speed controller nothing happens, what I'm I doing wrong?

AOD 10-28-2010 09:23 PM

I'm guessing it's my programming box because all it says is connecting PC nothing else.:(

I have the GT V2.1 EX and GT 2.1 Prostock ESC’s with LCD box and am wondering which software to download. Do I use 5/11 V1.33 or 7/8 V1.33 with 100528 for both esc’s? Is 5/11 V1.33 not to be used since 7/8 came out. The driver patch from 7/21 would not be used for the non Silver Arrow ESC’s? Both ESC’s are for 17.5t motors.

Can't say enough about the cirtix stock club esc and 17.5 v3 motor. It's drop in and go for RCGT, and easy to set up even for people as new as myself to b/l stuff. Loving this combo. I can truly say that I beat the living hell out of my car yesterday, esc never got over 90 degrees and motor never even hit 100. Running 4.25 FDR on a Tamiya ta05 v2. Gave nothing on the straight to any cars out there.

Don't be afraid to throw extra gear at it. My son Blake's Speed Passion setups seem to run better when geared a little more than the other brands.

Im running a 2.0 lpf in my 12th scale with a reciever pack. Is it true I have to keep the switch off on the esc? Im not getting any power when I do. Can I just run the ESC without the red wire to disable the bec or do I have to do something different? Thanks
