@Charlie
I've got a couple of questions:

do you have a usefull Esc setup (incl. gearing) to share for SP V3.0 13.5R (like the one of you for 17,5T above) with #100528 for medium size track

Despite of gearing - which parameters are the major ones I've to change if i go from medium size track to small / big?

Can I use my GT2.1 fan-less with #100528 without burning it down?

thx

Before I do it, could you please let me know if he base setup for 528 is more or less similar to 422 and what is the key item in 528 that I should be aware of. If 528 gives better performance and most importantly a cooler running motor, I will most likely make that upgrade. I am sure many other people in this thread would like to know about this. Thanks in advance for your help.
Where do I go to find the different programs. All I have is the software that came on the ESC and it runs HOT! I'm running 8.5 offroad on Mod setti
g in 2wd offroad. I set timing to 0. Gearing is normal or lower for 8.5.

I know I'm not Charlie. I use pretty much those same settings for 17.5 and 13.5. My 13.5 FDR's is 5.5 to 6.0 for a track 140x70.
Just like Charlie said, adjust to your feel and check for your temps.

Hey guys....

I was looking to take my gt 2.0 for a run this weekend but wanted to know a bit of info about the software. Can you put the newer 528 on the gt2.0 or does it only work on the 2.1?

Cheers...

No probs, be sure to share settings afterwards haha. I won't be running TC so can't help test settings, have just tested it on the street to see if everything runs fine.

I just succesfully did it for the first time ! I am running vista. I had to leave the LCD app open while transferring the files. And the trick in Vista it seems is, you need to copy and paste the files, not drag and drop. Very technical.

If all else fails start from scratch, like I did. Uninstall it all. The plug in the LCD, download the program for it, then while program is open, go to your start menu and right click on the app and click "open file location". Keep that open, and then download the new software. Copy that software from your download files by clicking COPY. Then go back to your LCD file that is open and click paste. The items to copy are the db3 and the version file.

Hope it works for you. I had to figure it all out myself as well.

thanks guys.. i had just got it working before reading post.. i remembered from last time with the beta software to copy/drag n drop the 2 files into v1.33 but after that the only way doing it that way is to right click the SP icon and run as administrator..worked straight away

charlie id still like to be directed to reinhards setup on SP site if poss please..i can find the old 205 stuff but not the new timed setups they use..

cheers
