sounds a little wimpy to ballmaster. ;) :D what happens when you gear up?

(i can run 120*F all day long... and be .3/lap off pace. :ha:) it just strikes me as too conservative. i wasn't happy with the rip until it came off around 165* when i put the motor in. and i drive pretty wimpy, myself.

Make sure you plug the servo lead from the reciever end of the esc into the lcd programmer and correctly.
Have a charged battery connected to the esc and switch the esc on and it will activate the software settings to appear on the pc.

TryHard Razzor,

Thanks. Receiver lead flipped... Settings came right up. Figured I goofed something.

So I'm curious. I deceided to install the speedo in my 2wheel offroad buggy. What program works well for 13.5?

Thanks again for your help!

from my testing, i think the 110 run cooler than the 107. i try running the 107 with the 110 gearing which was running 75 deg.c (team power 11.5t, 12.7mm rotor, +2 motor timing), and the tempt shoot up to 125 deg.c which cook my motor:cry:.

load back the 110 with a new motor (team power 11.5t, 12.7mm rotor, 0 motoring timing) starting gearing at 6.49fdr 6 min run 56 deg.c and end up at 4.74fdr 6 min run 70 deg.c

lap time are almost the same as running with the original software which i forget to noted down what it was, running with team power 11.5t, 12.7mm rotor, +4 motor timing, 6 min run 80 deg.c

dare not try the 107 again...

I didn't have the chance to gear up more....I was stopped @ 5.0 due to the small track (RCP @ Wi Madison for Hurricane leg #3 race)....I think I can go to 4.8 like the 323a software...but I doubt anything higher will get it better, except the motor will be hotter...but again, I need to get track time so I can go gear up, and find the track is big enough for me to gear up....TRACKSIDE sounds good to me.

What really surprise me about the 1110 software is the COOL motor temp.

What final drive you did to get up to 165* on motor...? I know when I was using the V1.1 speedo on a Hurricane Boost Duo 2 17.5...gear @ 4.6, it reach about 165-170*....but again, it is a old speedo without program update. But I am trying to say these motor can reach 170*, depends on what speedo and software that I am using...

i ran the 110 software with a 13.5v3 geared at 4.24 on a 90ft track... (full timing, drrs at six or seven) and a fairly soft trigger finger.

I just bought the Speed Passion 17.5 on A-Main, should be here within like, a week. Will i ned to buy those motor clamp things for the wires? or will the wires just solder on? or doe it come with them??
Thanks

nice... are you running default ESC settings e.g. DRRS/AMTS... also is your timing on the v3 motor in the middle?

Timing was at 26* and motor timing was stock.

i was testing the new sofware 110stock and for me it was a big diffrent in in top speed and punch. iam running FDR 4.5 on a xray T2 009. and now i almost kan keep up with the Advance blackdimond and Tekin Ecs on the straights. Running the Sp v3 17.5 motor. But cant compete with the castler creation mamba max pro, not even close. Temps on motor around 67 degrees celsius after a 7min run indoor carpet.

single cell stock 12th

Has anyone tried the 107 or 110 on 1cell 12th yet?
I did tonite running 2.0 lpf v3 13.5, found the 'turbo', but did not and I mean did not have any punch at the pull of the trigger. It would putt along for about 10 to 15ft. them pow it was All In! Tried roll-outs from 65 to 85......nothing changed except the top speed. It acted like it had a timer funtion, let off the throttle, slow down, pull throttle and WAIT! It did not act like a sensor or sensor wire so Please don't ask or tell me to check it! (even tho I did) Reloaded the 323 and back to haulin' a$$ I went.......Is the new software for 2cell only? or am I 1 push of a button off?

Again this was 1 cell 12th 13.5, for 12th 17.5 I really like the 312 software........

cyanyde 12-29-2009 11:26 PM

I wonder why are these manufacturers (LRP, Tekin, SP bla bla bla) coming up with so many different software versions without telling us what they're for and how they work. Isn't it easier to just come up with a tweaking utility that allows us to control timing/rpm like a graph or something?...

Drillit 12-29-2009 11:31 PM

you mean like tekin?
