Sell it? Well, its a tougher design... Suppose to change the way the arms/bulkheads/chassis flexes?

I like it... The roll adjustment is probably easier with the new design. Toe and width well... Probably easier just a few additional spares needed. Realistically, if your on a budget, you wont need all the different blocks. Probably 2deg, 2.5 and 3.0... But that depends on motor class and how you set the car up.

I cant wait to get my hands on one....
Tks for reply
Seems like it would just be easier if they did it like the T3 does

Guys - around the photon ex - it is changing. I cannot spill all of the beans but don't make up your mind if you like the car or not by a few shots of the car. The changes are more of a fine tuning based upon what they learned by running the prototypes.

This weekend Larry Photon EX looked really good at our club race. He is trying to build a setup that is easier to apply to the car by using the easier EJ shock building method. Honestly I haven't seen him as excited about his TC in a while as it as working better than his STD Photon.

I use to run the v3 all the time till I bought a couple 1cell motors. The 1cell motors, I have found to have some good bottom end for TC. I just started messing with the mmms.

I guess a secret might be out.. oh well. It is good news. Honestly I hope the new production car is as good as the prototype is now.

on the EX, is it likely that this new car will follow the xray 12 method of connection between bulk-heads and wishbones or go with the proto-type / tamiya style?

Haven't tried yet. The tc6 bones have a big ball end. You'll need their blades for sure.

I use asc blades in my yokomo diffs already by - sanding down the thickness Nd drilling the pin hole larger

When I look at my car it makes me think the belts should be flipped so the front belt is on the right. I saw a few pics like this too... any reason to..or not to try it?

The goal is to balance your car with everything as close to centerline as possible. With the motor side usually being the heavy side, you can flip the long belt to the right and mount your electronics closer to center. This will push the battery a little further out for balance but you shouldn't need as much weight on the battery side to balance the car. There is no reason NOT to try it.

So you think it even matters with the belt? Cause the battery can go in more too.bigger I guess I really just need to get my electronic stuff in and see how it sits

Since you called me out, I decided to weigh my electronics. I haven't weighed them in awhile, so I was a little surprised at the results. Thunderpower 50c 5200 battery 298 grams. OHP 65c 6000 battery 315 grams.
Electronics: Tekin RS, Futaba 9551, Futaba micro receiver, Micro xponder, Boss fan, 302 grams.

So I'm looking at a 302/298 or 302/315 weight balance. I guess (for me) the belt side doesn't matter as much as general placement and good balance.
