That was my experience with that setup on low/med bite carpet. I have made changes to make it better but now I have my car too bound in the corners. I am gonna reset the setup back to Larry's and start over.

Need help here guys, I had my friend rebuild my car and when i got home to change shock springs I could'nt set my ride height. Shocks are set to max (not coiled down) and my height would be at 7-8 mm. I tried switching front shocks to rear, checking if anything is binding, negative. It was not like this before. BTW I'm using the rubber springs.

Rubber tires on carpet, it was not like these before just after the rebuild.

I would check first that the spring retainers are seated all the way down on the ball cups.
Take the springs off and check the rebound while you're at it.
Which holes are they in on the arms and the towers?

retainers are seated all the way down, when shocks are not installed nothing is binding. Shock position is in the 3rd or middle hole.

if you are using sway bars, check that those set screws in the center of the shock tower mount area aren't tightened all the way down on the bar.

I am using photon spring, I did try HPI's and tamiya. No luck. Rebuild the front still no luck.

Are you saying that you cannot set ride height below 7-8mm? What is the shock length? What exactly did your "friend" rebuild on the car?

Thats why I asked if it "cannot" be set below 7-8 mm. If thats the case its not the droop screws. If it cannot go up that high I would say droop screws. Either way post some pics and there is plenty of help on this forum.
