ok thanks,
i have the spool fitted, and front drivetrain is free and so is the suspension.
i think the problem is my esc+ transmitter.
i just changed over from a hitec am to a futaba 3pm faast so i have to make alot of adjustments...

It would be nice to get Ronald Volker on here to answer some questions!

with a spool I doubt the rearend can slide out
2 things to check:
make sure the slop in the centerpulleys goes to the rear not to the front -> flip the center layshaft by 180° or remove the slop with CA
otherwise you will loose traction everywhere
make sure the diff and spool show NO! groove at all
if there is a groove replace the bits!

the topdeck ronald used is a bit harder and has been shown at the tokyo hobby show a few weeks ago
I do not know a releasedate though so be patient
but I think the harder topdeck is not really necessary unless u race on unbelievable high tractionsurfaces such as yatabe arena ...

Thats about how long it took for me to wear out my rear outdrives. I have filed and installed blades for now. My front is fine though.

Is anyone here using the new Yokomo spool? I'm wondering if the plastic outdrives hold up with just the rings on there, or is everyone putting on the aluminum sleeves from the original BD spool?
I need to buy an extra set of bones so that I can shave down the pins so that they do not hang outside the outdrives. I have a set of modded 415 aluminum sleeves that will fit over the new Yokomo spool cups. (Or maybe the Tamiya 46mm bones will bolt right up to the yokomo axle.)

The BD diff is the smoothest I have felt! I didn't get a chance to really run my car today. Fried a motor. Hopefully the ESC is okay. I'll get a chance to run it tomorrow and see. My locked center pulley came in today. So that's on the car now along with the spool. But I'm just wondering if the plastic spool can hold up without aluminum sleeves. Anyone experience the new spool yet?
