Lipo in a F201
Hy There!
Fore those who are interested:
The Trakpower 3600mhA 30C Hardcase Lipos are a perfekt fit in the F201 with a few minor modifications (takes about 1/2 hour work).
With the 3 racing conversion kit you only have to drill a hole in the battery holder for the + pole of the lipo.
If you have an "normal" F201 you have to grind the the battery slots plan, so the lipo can slide in. This work take about 10 minutes with a file.
Take a look at the pictures:

F201 body sets
aside for the Tamiya sets are there any other body sets that work or other manufacturers that still have bodies available?
Have looked at many of the sites listed here but cannot always tell if one would work or not

There is the MLP body set which looks pretty decent. Check them out at www.mlpmotorsports.net I believe.
If you cant find one for sale, I have an extra I could be talked into selling.

The MLP site was down last week (crash!) but may be up by now. As for 201 bodies he plans on making them when he gets his 2wd cars out on the market.
Any of you F201 guys going to the F1 race in Madison, WI later this year? Not sure about the rules for them but if you attend I recommend Tamiya F103 rears all the way around. They work great just trim the fronts a little to clear the steering knuckle. Check the forums under ILL/Wisconsin.

I only just recently stumbled on the F201, so I got one off eBay, and now I am looking for more hop ups. I pretty much have everything I am looking for except the reinforced drive shaft and those beautiful aluminum arms made by FPM. Any one have a set they would like to sell? or any one know where I can find these? I have been searching for months, and can't seem to find anything. Any reference to a site that I have found turns out to be a dead site, or they don't carry parts for the F201. Can some one help? It's to bad that this car was canceled, and it seems interest has fallen dramatically. I know its far from perfect, but it's a unique design, and fun to build/drive.

Hey folks,
I've recently acquired an F201. I'm located in perth, western australia and was wondering if anyone knows of any places that are local to me, or at least ship to Australia where i can get f201 parts.
Looking for mainly wheels, but looking for any spares out there really. Even hop ups, looking for anything out there really. So if you got some spares you'd like to part with send me a pm, or if you know a good store to buy parts from let me know too !!!
Cheers !!!
