There is still info about the 415 on that site. You just have to click on the 415 graphic. The link below will tell you the differences in the 415 kits.

Doh! brain fart! Thanks, I will check it out! Anyone had any experience of the mentioned kit? Good/bad points? Thanks
Thanks, thats really useful What are the differences between the msxx and the msxx mre? Am I really going to notice the difference between the two?
is the msxx quite fragile, or a solid car? I have a ta05 with the 3racing graphite chassis and its a tank, solid as a rock! I heard the bearings can be fragile as they are ceramic, any experiences? (I could be wrong)
thanks.

The difference between the regular MSXX and the MRE version is the inclusion of a spool and direct center pulley. I would get the MRE version if I could but I wouldn't pay a rediculous premium over the regular car. Safest bet is to find a cheap MSXX and get a spool for it. This car seems much easier to drive and set up than the new 416.

The TA-05 is a tank for sure. If you don't hit stuff pretty hard the 415 will be tough enough. Only thing I've broken are the rear arms, everything else has been rock solid.

The MRE isnt an option for me but the msxx possibly is, or maybe a ta05r... or another regular ta05 (new).
I have a spare 3racing chassis for the ta05 so its tempting to buy another ta05 and build one up but I was considering something more top range.
are you sure the rear gear diff can be used on MSX without any modification???
recently I replaced both front and back pulley in TRF415MSX with TA05 wide pitch pulley. Somehow the white belts of TRF415MSX don't fit quite well. Although I managed to put them on, they are very very tight. Since I plan to run GTB with velociti 3.5, I am afraid the belts will snap. I am thinking about using TRF415MSXX black belts, but not sure if they are any better than the white belts. Can someone help me please?
ive got a brand new, unbuilt trf415msxx in the mail to me Anyone got any build tips?
I know its a good idea to superglue the chassis to stop it from delaminating, take my time on each step etc, but is there anything else I should know?
thanks!

Question
415 owners... was there ever a Tamiya SPOOL released for the original 415?
not by tamiya, but the MRE spool will fit, provided you use the 36T pulleys on your car (whih fit perfectl).

There are different Tamiya parts that are being used on the S400 (46mm swing arms ,suspension arm blocks ,front and rear pullies and the suspension arms look very much like tamiya)the only thing that i can see being a problem is the S400 diff sits very close to the right bulk head, i will most probably have to use 2 single centre pullies for the drive belts. I have an S400 rgd on the way so in a couple of weeks we will see what happens.
