Do you mean they use from the TA05 only the spur holder?
I think the other parts of the pictured car are not from the original MSX.
Do you know where or from which producer this belts are to purchase?
cheers

They were pretty good and softer (free'r) than the kit black belts. But it's been sooo long I don't remember the part number. I'm sure if you searched this forum, I might have given out the part number 2 back in 2004. I bought mine from Rainbowten. Wait... now that I think of it... they were ECHO belts........ maybe the same? I wouldn't mind trying some with my MSX.

MSX Setup for Socal and Hotrod
I'm going to be back in southern Cal for buisness for several weeks in March and was wondering what the typical MSX setup for both Socal raceway and Hot Rod Hobbies in stock and mod classes since I would like to limit the amount of gear I will have to take on the plane. Looking for Spur/Pinion, Tires,Springs, Shock Oil, and Motor for mod info. Also is there anywhere else I need to look at racing? I grew up in southern Cal but haven't lived there since '94. Thanks.

A while ago, I bought ECHO Black Low Friction belts for my 415MS and they were great. Very little wear and long lasting. At the time, I bought 3 pairs and I still have some of them, over 6 months later and I run modified. I went to order some more thought as my stock was getting low (only 1 new set left) but when I went to order them from Champ R/C (where I got my first lots from) they said that they could not get any more because, and I quote "echo are bankcrapped". I take it that that is Engrish for Bankrupt. Sad news to hear, so I've been using Tamiya Whites since then, but I haven't had as many problems as others have had, but some of my friends have. Like, broken belt on first run!!
