ok thank you for the set up

i tried it and it worked well

white front springs and 50WT oil

Blue rear springs and 35WT oil

25mm droop and 1.5 camber all round

front toe was 0 degrees

there was low grip due to rain in the morning ( i chickened out of that !!)

but it had dried by the second race and the car was planted and i feel i had the most grip i have EVER had with this car !!

big thank you to you all

Car was awesome yesterday. I made a bad mistake in the main and it cost me a chassis, rear hing pin, caster block, and some braggin' rights I have some ideas on what to do to make the car better then next time out so I can't wait until then. The Reedy warm up race is gonna be fun.

Man...........I would leave the front alone and probably go reds on the rear
that would help with it swapping ends then go down one spring rate at a time on the front until you get a enough steering ( Im hoping you are using a spool) I would probably run sorex 22's leave the oils alone , leave your front toe as is and maybe raise your front ride height by 0.5 only if its a bit nosy.

Good luck

(ps Im trying 416WE arms and mounts soon ,will post my findings and if lap times were better or worse)

yes i am running a spool

i learned the one way is ...................erm.................... shall i say not good for a brushless set up LOL

i will be using the Vtec dunlop D20 wet tyres as i'm allowed to use 6 sets of tyre per year and with only 6 races i think i can manage with 5 Vtec 27's and the D20's

do you use roll bars on your dry car ??

i got them front and rear , althought they are just the stock ones

my lap times were 2 seconds a lap better than i have ever done , thanks to your set up

Does the 415msxxx spool work on the TRF415? Also is there a way to make a front diff for the TRF415?

Thanks

hi there i bought all the parts needed for the TRF415 spool and yes they all fit

i have a list of parts ere :-

http://www.vellrip.com/store/product...asp?p=337&c=78

http://www.vellrip.com/store/product...asp?p=742&c=78

http://www.vellrip.com/store/product...asp?p=744&c=78

then you need 3 screws and 2 pins (like the ones in the driveshaft UJ's) and your off

dont use a front diff i didnt like it and the conversion kit it expensave if you find a shop with any

My original crash only broke the front caster block but since the crash happened at the end of the straight and cars were still coming I got hit from the rear and that's were all the damage came from.
