Yes, the E40 line of motors are sensored, and they work fine with a GTB.

For now, I am partial to the LRP Stock Spec motors. The build quality is top notch, and they have a few optional accessories for the motor that nobody else makes.

Do you already have a GTB, or was that the ESC you were thinking of getting?

the novak with the oem 12.3 rotor is kinda a dog. if you put the 13mm rotor in it and gear the ef out of it will keep up.

I ran a novak 17.5 this last weekend and i was getting motored hard by losi and hackers. Time to put the 13mm rotor back in that one.

Default motors

i have tried about all of them out there. They all seem to be about the same except for one. When i was in cleveland me and 3 others got orion 17.5s. They were the newest ones they sell. All the motors where super slow.Maybe just a bad batch, but i will prob never buy another one.I have used losi, hacker, novak, speed pasion , and duos, Geared right they all seem about equal. I think with roar guidlines theres not a whole lot of room for variation. just my opinion.

So have people been having good experiences with the Speed Passion 17.5R? From on here Novak motors seem to be struggling.

THE orions are plenty fast. novaks just have to get a good rotor for them to be quick ( good luck finding one). my speed passion is faster with zero degree timing THAN my duo. and the lrp can be fast. its just getting a good rotor and one that is wound well from any of the companies. the hacker/losi are good too. plenty fast

The Express motors seem to be duo based. Damn fine motors. The Losi/Hacker motors apparently have GOBS of torque. I'm thinkin about trying the Losi myself.

I have speed pasion in my car and son has novak his seems faster and less gear ratio sensitive. I would really like to try the hacker and new trinity pulse motors.

What kind of gearing and timing are you using on the Orion 17.5's. I have 2 and one came with -7.2 and the other -10.8. What's up with that? We never run negative timing on brushed motors.
