The pack will have the following size H29mm x W45mm x L159mm. This should fit in the battery compartment of the E-Revo.

Got a cmax from Nexus racing yesterday. Man the battery had some rip by the main. Much better than my tired worn out other battery. The battery seems to charge way faster that my old pack Guess way lower ir after a 5 min qualifier and 2 extra mins. I pumped 1265 ma @5.2 amps through a trakpower balancer in 29 min 59 sec. With my old pack the charge would take about 48 mins

Hey Danny
You may not remember me but you and I talked briefly at Fastcats at
there Canadian Carpet offroad Nationals.

I do have a question for you. Is SMC going to make a Lipo Primarily
for use in a 1/8 electric buggy. Something like 4S and 5000mah,
softcase? Is something like this going to be released soon?

Ryan

Hi Ryan,
Not good with names but I will be back to Fastcats at the next Trophy race.

We should have our 40C+/5000/4S softcase pack by the end of February.

We also plan on releasing some hardcase packs for 1/8th scale Buggy and Truggy.

Stay tuned as we will post info as it becomes available.

Awesome. Slim chance you could tell me the length of the Hardcase?
Is it going to be 160mm like the softcase?

Danny/Korgae – What is the most current case color for the following packs? I see multiple variations listed on different suppliers.

SUM4028LD 7.4v 4000mAh 28C Hard Case LiPo Surface Pack

SUM4925SP 7.4V 4900mAh 25C Hard Case LiPo Saddle Pack

Not sure yet what the weight will be. Once we get them in I will post the info.

I will weigh the new packs while down at the Snowbirds and try and post the info. We only have a precision scale in house that can't do anything to heavy. We used this scale to sort out/count battery bars.

Glad to hear that as the IR on these packs are the lowest we have seen yet.

What charger do you use to link with your TP balancer ?

It will be 165mm and way may do one at 139mm to fit cars that need to 5000 style packs like the AE buggy.

I will have allot more info after the Snowbirds.

The 4028LD has top exiting wires and a red colored graphite look.

The 4925SP has the same color case as the 4028LD.
