The thought of a 2019 spec shaft car has nearly broken my inbox

We might need a whole new thread for this....

Might be time for a new thread for the 2019 shaft car. Stock racing misses that immediate rip.

So I have a question that probably already been answered but I can't find much info on it. Why did AMX move away from the FFG design on the 800? Was there issues with the design or did he simply find a better design? also FFG vs RFG, if anyone can give me some info on that it would be greatly appreciated. I just picked up a Evo ll so I'm learning all I can

I'm guessing this aluminum Evo 2 chassis will never be produced again?

The floating gearboxes were introduced to try to combat shaft drive torque steer. This does not exist in a belt car, so there is no need for it.

The FFG is the front floating gearbox, RFG is rear floating gearbox.

Thank you for the info, I have a lot of people telling me that I should get rid of the ffg and others tell me I should run a rfg. I guess this will have to be a test thing for me to see what works best on CRC black carpet in 17.5

Any more rumors on the new shaft car? I'd love to try one for Can-Am Stock TC and dedicate my MMCX-A to Super Stock and Mod.

from what I was told (not known for sure as it could be farther) it's in its drawing stages. I still can't wait for it to come out, it will be a beast in stock classes.

don't click the last page and go in from the first page, then search over. For whatever reason when you go in the last page it thinks its 641 but its actually in the 620's I believe. Also when you post something it might say it failed but it didn't so just go back and reload
