Gee summary is pretty much on point. One more fact -- we won every big 17.5 carpet touring race in 2014. Snowbirds. Roar carpet nationals. IIC. Couldn't of dreamed of any better results.

I kicked around the human readable part names (instead of part numbers) while at IIC. We are going to come up with some names/etc try and help everyone understand the car better....

Overall, an outstanding weekend for Awesomatix at the IIC. Kyle tq'd and won 17.5 tc in a field of 80+, and we had 5 cars in the show, more than any other brand. I finished 2nd in 13.5 tc and Josh made the main against the best drivers in the world. I think our team worked well together and I know I learned a lot for the next big race I go to. Congrats to everyone, I can't wait to do it again
Now now, let's not gloat, I'm pretty sure there were only twice as many Awesomatix as any other mfg in the stock A-Main . There were great performances in a lot of the heats by many A700 drivers. I know I am really pumped by the cars performance in a tough high grip environment. The whole Awesomatix team were great about answering questions and providing advice, plus that all critical parts support.

Not gloat!!!...... Come on..... A day will come when all ten cars in the Amain 17.5t will be Awesomatix's !!!... If another brand makes it amongst them, it will be BERT's tc4.1...LOL...
Again congrats to the team, and do the same in Mod next year !!!!!

Winners in all classes. Kyle is between Volker and Herbert.

Kyle does not use R/C Tech so on his behalf as his dad, thank you everyone. Special thanks to Mike Hanulec and everyone on the team at IIC for the support and fun times. Kyle has now won 2 TC Stock titles, ROAR 2014 and IIC 2014 that probably would not have been possible without this car. It's design and setup capabilities are untouchable by any other car on the market. If your a good driver and want to move to the next level, this is the next level.

Mike Gee congrats on the 2nd place in Super Stock TC, car was fast and you drove well in the main. Also congratulations to Bill Sydor for the 3rd in Spec GT. Great job by everyone else on there A main finishes, competition was tough this year at IIC, we've all proven once again how good this car is for Stock and Super Stock TC racing. I can tell you know we would have had 3-4 more A700's in the Super Stock main, those that didn't make had some driving issues which prevented it from happening. Next year I think will be very different. I'm also confident Awesomatix will have more cars in the A main of Mod next year.

+1 on the dry bicycle chain lube. Works very well, and quiets the drivetrain noise.

Is there a manual for the assembly of the current EVO? The site only has the FFG installation. Want to prepare for my upcoming build.

I saw a lot of FCBs at IIC, is there information somewhere on when you would want to use them? When you wouldn't? What is the difference between flex and rigid setup?

The kit comes with a manual for an L plus that FFG manual, so pretty much once you get to the put the bulkheads on part, you go to the FFG manual. Other than that, it builds like an L. I would also suggest picking a setup to run and build it with that vs building the kit setup and then changing later.

The flex setup allows some caster change thru flex. Most guys prefer the regular links because it is more rigid and gives a more direct steering feeling. I know myself, Kyle and Josh ran regular links and had reactive caster shimmed in as necessary
