(post 6631) How are you guys using your Flexible Caster Block Sets? Fixed or Flex?
For the flex setting, curious if there is a preference of;
- flex forward/fixed rear
- fixed forward/flex rear
- flex forward/flex rear
- fixed front/fixed rear
One thing to make sure you measure out is the eyelet spacing of the P13-4
This is a trick addition to the feature list.

Separately, what has the preference been between the graphite and aluminum FFG tubes?

I am wondering, if i race only 17.5, are the flexible caster mounts worth it?

Hello,
I've just purchase an EVO and was wondering where is the best place to order spares from when I'm based in the UK?
Cheers Mike

The rear of the car still rolls at corner exit, especially with the rear so soft like you have it. Taking droop out will make the car dump over less, which will make it much easier to drive. The am06s in the rear should help, the M blocks make the rear get out of the track more I think. Ive never ran the short balls, so im not sure if it will help you with my setup. They are good to have if you want to try a larry/hanulec setup though as they run those. Their setups tend to be less touchy than mine so if my setup doesn't work for you theirs might.
I came into this car looking for 0.3-0.5seconds, I had my old car set-up to where I could drive it hard for my ability, and my consistency was good with that car, was just not on pace. With your set-up on this new car, my fast laps were only 0.1-0.2sec off pace, I just could not drive it constantly.
This weekend, I tried Hanulec's set-up. Wow, what a difference. The car was planted. I was right on point with the fast guys, in more than one race I posted the same fast lap to the 1/100th! I did leave some on the track, little mistakes add up, but I know I now have the car, just need to work on my consistency. The car with this set-up was a joy to drive, and would not punish me too much for my mistakes, the car would recover quicker, meaning less time lost from a mistake. With a little work on the set-up, and more track time, I think this car will be just what I was looking for.

Going to running the EVO for the first time tonight.
I would just like to say that the car looks and builds amazing. Even if I don't get on with it I'll keep it just for show.
I was worried about all the new ideas on the car that I would have to understand but after working on it for a couple of hours I was thinking these are great ideas and thought why haven't they been used before.
The car is easy to maintain and well thought out, point being how easy it is to change the spur and diffs. As for the suspension once you've looked and played around with it to understand what to adjust its really quite easy.
Really looking forward to running it tonight so finger crossed all goes well.
