How are you guys using your Flexible Caster Block Sets? Fixed or Flex?
For the flex setting, curious if there is a preference of;
- flex forward/fixed rear
- fixed forward/flex rear
- flex forward/flex rear
- fixed front/fixed rear
One thing to make sure you measure out is the eyelet spacing of the P13-4
This is a trick addition to the feature list.

Separately, what has the preference been between the graphite and aluminum FFG tubes?

Had a good weekend as a warm up to our big two day race in SoCal.
Should draw at least 3 full mains in Mod and 13.5.
A few folks asked about what I was running.
These are some new chassis from Bezerk from Australia. The craftsmanship and finish was nice. They have two chassis for the A700 including a 2.1 Quasi and 2.1 "twill" as they call it. The "Twill" was the stiffer of the two. For the 2.1 Quasi I had to run the top deck to mellow the car.
The "twill" feels just right without the top deck.
I ran Josh's setup (white car in video) in modified with a couple of tweaks. And Kyles with short links in 13.5. I haven't had a setup in quite some time that felt good in mod. As little as I run mod - it looks promising...
While I thought Kyles setup was good straight from the sheet I did think that going from the long link to the short link made the car more responsive, provided more side bite and had better exit steering. Try it both ways. Curious to hear what you guys think.

Mark,
Cars look great, I will be picking my chassis up next month at round 3 of the AOC. I will be getting both chassis like you, really looking forward to trying them out. Thanks you for your input.

Hello, i have a dumb question and i'm trying to find the answers online but i can't find anything clear. What is the different between the A700L and the A700EXL - other than the wider chassis? I know the EXL can be converted to the EX, but i don't want to do the transverse motor mount setup, i was looking at converting it to the L model.
So far i found:
A700EXL is the special version of A700EX kit without the parts for transverse motor layout.
A700EXL kit doesn't include:
AM02
AM04
AM13
ST06
C03-1
G01
G02
B84RS x2
All others parts are the same as in A700EX kit. - but what about compared to the A700L?

This is information from the awesomatixusa site:
The A700L was one of three kits released in 2012 by Awesomatix. It differs from the other 2nd Generation kits, the A700EX and A700EXL, by offering a different, narrower carbon chassis (C01L) that only supports Longitudinal motor configurations. The A700L does not include the AM24 Central Servo Holder and a full set of standard (harder) shock springs (SPR01) that is included within the A700EX or A700EXL.

Not sure the A700EXL is still in production. Most have gone with the a700L or a700levo cars.
