Like other's have mentioned, the car is good out of the box. Kyle and I are almost running box stock.

We've added Titanium turnbuckles (broke a few so we've replaced with Ti), AM24 servo mount, metal gears for gear diff (current plastic will strip if not if not shimmed properly).

If you really want all the hop-ups go to the options page on AwesomtaixUSA site and buy everything

The 1pc servo mount and the sleeves to hold the ECS together are both nice to have. Also, make sure you have a flat head screwdriver that's exactly 2.5mm wide for the ECS assembly.

Personally, I wouldn't bother upgrading the stock gear diff. Replace it with GD2.

After all the fear mongering about ECS builds for this car, I found them to be one of the most straight forward and easy builds in the kit. Only thing I would say makes it easier is a small jewlers vice to hold the ECS body in place when you are opening it. Once its open it stays there with the screw driver holding it while you put in the two sides.

But yeah - buy the P20's (or ECS collars in normal human words) to keep them from popping open and you are good to go. I hit a lot of shit, and they have held strong with those on.

I have noticed that the rear diff's (GD1) tend to have some variances from car to car in stiffness/gear feel and to get my GD1 to have the same diff resistance (oil weight effect) to another persons car I had to add 1K higher lube in than the other person was using. As much as I want to say Syn is wrong on the GD2... if its consistent, and plug/play it may not be a bad purchase.

Let's start building:

Was only disappointed when I found out the single piece servomount isn't included in the kit. I had expected it to be part of the kit.

I am about to pull the trigger on the evo kit, just some questions, I know to get the metal gears for the diff, does the evo kit come with the floating servo mount, or do I need to order it seperatly, are all the shims included or do I need to buy those seperatly, and the battery holders, i saw some aluminum ones on their web site, does the car come with them or are they plastic, if so will the aluminum ones fit the evo kit, thanks
