what kind of rubber tires and inserts do you guys use on touring for carpet. And also what foam tires do you run.

Default Tires

Harley,

For rubber tires most people use Sorrex 24 on the front and Sorrex 20 on the back with Echo medium inserts. For foam tires most people use Plaids(orange/purple) in the front and purple in the rear made by Jaco or TRC.

looking for a chassis

first thing i gotta tell you: you guys seem so incredibly nice in here! seriously! y'all get along and everything and its great to see that my real reason for posting though is trying to find a new chassis for my soon to be tc3 (WOO HOO!) i am looking forward to getting it really soon, within the next few weeks. first thing i wanna do though is get rid of the chassis and upgrade and im definitely thinking about the demon.. which one i have yet to figure out i wanna get some feedback from you guys about the chassis: what you like about it, what makes it so great, etc. i know brian pretty well and he does nothing but rave about his demon chassis but i want some other people's opinions.. like how does it hold up to the competitors? thanx a lot ahead of time!

what are u mainly going run?? the d1 works for rubber and foam, the d2 works very well with rubber but ive heard that getting working well for foam takes a bit.. i ran a d1 rubber and foam and its the best aftermarket chassis out there

well this is the sucky thing: i will be running both carpet and asphault see, we have 2 tracks around my area: one track runs onroad only in the summer on asphault and the other track runs carpet in the winter/asphault in the summer. i think i am gonna run rubber tires b/c brian and some other people told me to until i get the hang of it hope this helps you out somehow..

If you're going to run both, I'd say stick with the D1. It's going to be more versatile for you. You'll love the car, though.

Absolutely buy the D1. I ran the D2 on carpet/foam high bite and its a rocket in acceleration, but the D1 handles better 98% of the time and thats more important than a little better squirt off the corners.

Just buy a 2.5mm chassis and have a narrow and wide top decks to tune for cold outdoors days and days on the rug!! 10 second change!!

And dnt worry-th D1 wil be plenty competitive on asphalt!!!
