Trust me on this one, I sell this stuff for a living. The blue is good but rated for larger fasteners (1/4" to 3/4" with about a 180in/lb torque breaking point).

The purple is specifically designed for fasteners under 1/4", brass, aluminum, etc. The breaking point is about 53in/lbs.

Maybe its possible there are different strenghts of loctite that are also blue? The blue loctite I use, in the driveshafts for example, take almost NO extra pressure to break free... a small little "tik"... and its out. Nowhere NEAR enough resistance to strip the head.

You can use both lengths with the multi diff. You remove the plastic collar from behind the out drives in the multidiff.

Sometimes with aluminum the threads can be stressed. When some types of lock tight are used and for the length of time it has been set. The threads can pull out. I believe this also depends on the quality of aluminum that is used.

Anyone have any dialed setups for a low bite asphalt track? Using the new c springs? also shock oils as well? rear kickup? etc

does anyone know from the picture if this will fit a xray? (without drilling any holes) Or know of a place that sells 48p RW racing spurs that will fit. (i did ask the website and they said "they had no idea")

from my experience, it won't fit. other's may disagree.

It will fit with some sanding on parts 305577 (just the outside of the pulley and the propellor shaped spacer). You need to make them just a little bit thinner to make it work since the spur is al little thicker than the x-ray ones.

They do fit, I use RW spurs (RChobbies don't know sh@t) you just need to remake a spacer out of thinner gauge plastic or as is stated sand down the existing one...easy.

Woohoo! We got a permanent carpet track in Southern California! This is OCRC Raceway in Huntington Beach, Ca. The car in this video is the T2 009 U.S. im reviewing for RCCA Magazine and you'll see the full review in a future issue. I cant wait for this years IIC in Vegas!
