I prefered with 007 and silver can oneway, but with change to 19T and 10.5T now I'm using spool (well I used in the beginning oneway in 008 and 19T but switched to spool because I was unable to compete with others using spools). So I think - one way is still no. 1 choice for silver cans and equivalent motors (however new guys are using spool as well - strange). For 19T/10.5T and mods is spool better. Anyway you can still buy MD if you need it.

Is the 009 just night and day better than the 007 as far as the EU version? I have been told that EU version made great strides above the 007EU...Is there any reason why I shouldnt upgrade? Sorry about all the questions and I appreciate all the input......Happy Holidays by the way.....

I feel like 008/009 is way better in terms of setup. I had allways to work on setup during whole racing day. With 008/009 I have to do setup in the morning and sometimes do minor changes to setup. That's main advantage. 007 upgrade to 008/009 really worth it. 008 to 009 not that much (If you've got 008 in great condition you really don't have any reason to upgrade)

I have the 007 EU....I love the car and who wouldnt Xray is the best....I am definetly goin to get a new car...Thought about an 008 since you can get one for 400 or less but still unsure...The only difference I could see between the 008 and 009 was the color and the light weight stuff...Does the lipo shim kit come with the 009?

I ran my 009 EU on carpet with rubber tires today and it was very good all day very stable and easy to drive was almost 2 laps faster compared to my cyclone from last week , it was just awesome i ran the basic carpet set up the kit came with the only thing i changed was shock oil to 35f/30 rear losi oil and a little more droop in the rear very happy so far ,and ohh yeah the color look awesome alot better in person, pictures dont do it justice.

my front driveshafts bind on my 009. As soon as i snug the set screw it begins to bind. These are the 50mm steel front driveshafts. I dont think that i got loctite in the joint because both fronts bind but not not the rears. I will clean it tonite and try again but any help will be appreciated. Thanks
