KMW - The extensions give us less ackerman - more highspeed steering along with the slight decrease in steering sensitivity around center = a less twitchy car with more steering in sweepers and carousel....
lazyboy - I was there the past few years and I definatly am planning on attending this year also!!!
Hugo - 12t?? I haven't run that in years...lol.... Umm... Purple springs (maybe red), loads of timing - 16-24 degrees, brushes... not sure - what type of motor?? yokomo or epic (small brush, laydown, or big brushes)??

Jackson's track is hard-packed, so I'm sure Josh's CEFX 12 would have no problems ripping it up. I can just picture it on the triple now, getting the front wheels all crossed up.

I think seeing a CEFX 12 on an off-road track should make it into the next XXX Main video. We could make some custom taper pins for the rear too. She'd be DIALED!!!!!!

josh - i have been running my FK for a couple of weeks now and i'm quite happy with the car. i ran the set-up recommended by the manual and found the car to have a loose rear end which makes the car spin out on some areas. then i D-LOADED your set-up for the reedy race and the car was really hooked up. it was so hooked up that everyone who drove/watched the car running was very impressed. KUDOS to you!!!
- i noticed that you use the zero deg aluminum caster on your recent set-ups. i'm wondering what added characteristics in handling did you get out of it?

Brian - E-mail?? I don't think so....
Scott - Yep..
Aaron - Let me know when you are going to try that...lol... I'll send a pack of bumpers and front end parts your way!!!
striker - When we ran at the Pre-Worlds and Reedy Race it seemed to help with highspeed steering which was what we really need with the Xray. It also helped keep a good balance on the tires through 5 minutes.... I would have never tried it but Juraj Hudy tried it at the Pre-Worlds and we all gave it a try and liked it.
Randy - Thanks and no...lol.. Same schedule as last year (at least for the first year)... and it's still supposed to be a secrect for a few more weeks!!...lol...
Joe - [email protected] or you can hit www.cefx.net and go to the contact page...

Josh,
You wrote about the "1/11th" scale associated car you ran at the pro ten worlds. What did that car look like?
I'm in the process of drawing out a new bottom plate for my Associated RC10L2-mutant car. I'm considering shortening the car to give it more steering, without sacrificing rear traction. At the moment, I run a 2.2mm thick T-bar to balance the front and rear of the car. The stock T-bar is 2mm. This does help give the car more steering, but it sacifices out-of-the-corner stability. I also narrowed the front of the car with 5mm, and the rear with 2mm, compared to stock. Any suggestions?
I also added a picture of my car. The only change I made since then, was to switch the side shocks for tubes, and add the thicker T-bar with tweak screws.
