Yeah that's the type I bought. It just sits way too high! Is there a way to adjust the mounting point so it lowers the wing?

I've thought about getting the dremel and grinding the part that attaches itself to the chassis down a few mm. But I've never done that sort of thing before.

Or a heat gun and bending the connecting point from the mount to the wing...

Try this if you want to lower the rear wing height

It is roughly as high as your ride height is.
If you want to lower it, I would shave the bed on the wing with proxxon and some flat end mill, but not much than 1mm since it weakens the part. And some washer to compensate on top.

Ok after running the car Weds night it was really good with the things I changed on black crc.
Kit caster is 3* changed it to 6* for more exit than entry.
2.5 x-ray center spring from kit 2.3.
And .5mm front droop from the 1mm it had.
Ride hight is 4.3 front 4mm rear.
Front tow out is 2.5*

My only problem with the car is the winside wheel lifts and diffs out if I try and give to much throttle. I set the punch at 5 from 10 to try and calm it down because of the driver but any input would be appreciated

What car? What front and side springs and oil in the tubes?

more front spring. Or Thicker grease in rear side dampener. Heavier side springs? I'm spit balling. Hoping to learn something

Default US On Road Nats

Any of you planning on coming to Texas in September for the US Nats? Its near Austin, called NControl, looks like one hell of a track, and I know for a fact the BBQ is better than you have ever had in your life. Its so good you will want to move here. We have the Dallas Area F1 Posse headed there, probably the Houston F1 Posse as well, just need some or, or smores whatever. Would be great to meet as many of the US F1 Posse as possible, oh yeah and race a bit. Its not about the race as much as its about meeting the cool F1 people.

Assuming its an Xray from the spring and caster choices....not that it matters a lot in this situation. Soft front spring, like a tamiya silver. Softest side spring you can find as well. The car needs to roll within its suspension, not hinge up because its so stiff. If its an Xray, make sure you have the little optional cross brace for the front suspension installed. You may want to push the battery forward if you have room, or generally shift static weight forward on the car. If you take away too much front droop the car will stop steering mid corner.

WRC as a lot of front grip (to much for the rear) so you'll have to degrade your front setup (add caster , more toe out) and soften the side springs and side damper. you can try to tighten the diff also

I was thinking that.
If I try and Chuck it in the corners it will flip easy have to be smooth on inputs

So soften the rear and stiffen the front

Totally agree with RobK

Also Rob, weren't you playing with re-active caster on carpet with the xray?
