With all that camouflage how can you tell? :-)

I think you are right. That is a Tamiya F2012 front wing on it, so it probably is a PF Fourteen body.
I don't know who the painter is, or how they painted the car. I saw these pictures on PROTOform's Facebook page and I posted them on this thread for everyone to see.

Hey guys, I just picked up an f104 v2 pro and was wondering what spares would be nice to have on hand...any common parts that are prone to breaking?

Plastics for the front suspension. The $35 or so for the Exotek upper arms is money well-spent. If you are on a board track, a spare front wing is a good idea, too (F60, not the F2012).
Spare side links and football. Get the carbon versions.

And spare roll springs. They are prone to going 'paziiiiiinnnnnnng' across the track in a bad crash, never to be found.
If it has a carbon axle, an extra one of those. It can be broken in a hard impact. The steel axle is very, very tough.

Cool thanks guys! I like to be prepared for impact
Multiple front arm sets, king pins, suspension balls, multiple front spring sets, multiple e clips, shim sets, multiple front uprights, carbon axle, multiple side link sets, side springs.
In the beginning you might need all of these. But the better you get the hang of it. You wont need as much. When I was racing. The Exotek front arm set was a good thing to have, because it could take a beating. I used it as a "training wheel ". Once I got the hang of it. I went back to the stock front end... The new carbon reinforced front arm set that comes standard with the TRF102 might be better!
