For the F103 or F104?
We run Pitz in the rain and it works perfectly on the F103.

For wet weather you want the Cross or TRG Superion tyres - same tyre, different suppliers. They are the standard wet tyre in the UK, just too sticky for use in the dry. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M9HMutOu6IE

They work just as well in the snow

Hello guys, so today I decided to glue the shimizu tires to the foam rims (F104) and I have a doubt on how should I seat the outter lip which is slighly smaller, mot sure if it should go on top of the rim or on top of the side of the rim. Here is a picture of both please let ne know which is the proper way:

The larger lip goes on the outside. Mount the tires without gluing them, then put them on the car. It will be very clear which way to mount them because one way the front tires will rub.

I did not do any setup changes since the last time I ran on indoor carpet. Going to make some changes and see how it works tomorrow. Anyone have a good ice setup
If you ever make it to Battlefieldraceway the entry fee will be null and void for being that hardcore of an F1 driver. Sic'em!

Thanks, not sure I am that hardcore just bored to death with off road and the closest indoor on road track is 3 hours away.

Just order some new tires and wheels, and stopping by the hardware store tomorrow. I have some ideas to improve upon my studded tire setup. Going to try and get the touring car going too. Moving the tires from one side to the other changed my traction. So I spent the day moving tires around to find the best setup. The rear tires just have more bite than the front. If I can get more side bite on the front the driving would get really fun.

Just need some others to come out and run. After today a line has started to develop on the ice and it does provide more traction than off line. I think the fine scratches the studs put on the ice start to put a texture on the ice giving it the increased traction.

Thought I would add some pics from today:

What's a good starting point for foam tires on carpet without additive?
