Hello guys, so today I decided to glue the shimizu tires to the foam rims (F104) and I have a doubt on how should I seat the outter lip which is slighly smaller, mot sure if it should go on top of the rim or on top of the side of the rim. Here is a picture of both please let ne know which is the proper way:

With no indoor track near and a serious itch to drive my F1, I took some drastic measures today. Removed a set of tires from the rims added at least 20 staples to each tire the re-mounted the tires. Then I went down to the frozen lake a shoveled a track and started driving.
I did not do any setup changes since the last time I ran on indoor carpet. Going to make some changes and see how it works tomorrow. Anyone have a good ice setup

Just order some new tires and wheels, and stopping by the hardware store tomorrow. I have some ideas to improve upon my studded tire setup. Going to try and get the touring car going too. Moving the tires from one side to the other changed my traction. So I spent the day moving tires around to find the best setup. The rear tires just have more bite than the front. If I can get more side bite on the front the driving would get really fun.
Just need some others to come out and run. After today a line has started to develop on the ice and it does provide more traction than off line. I think the fine scratches the studs put on the ice start to put a texture on the ice giving it the increased traction.
Thought I would add some pics from today:

What's a good starting point for foam tires on carpet without additive?
