He's one of the reasons I started doing my own sheets, I was going to buy in bulk from him, and he wouldn't budge on his price.
I have a couple of the Ddrive virgin sheets, but they are for last years car, which I think is actually a cooler scheme. I am working on 4 or 5 different sheets at the moment, but I am also trying to get rid of the backlog of bodies that I need to paint

While not an F104, I ran my Mutant 180mm F109 on Tamiya rubber and thought I made a mistake in spending money to narrow the car. Then I bought some Pits, and it quickly became a nimble little fighter plane. I have an FGX now, and my standard F109 is working so well, that I'm not messing with the Mutant much. But the Pits made 100% difference. IMO.

Price may be a bit high but you can do two bodies with each set. Some of Bruce's stuff is only available from his shop. Great selection and if you do a multible set order, shipping isn't realy too bad considering where they are being shipped from. Just my thoughts.

I'd still like to know if someone has both cars, 180mm and 200mm, with both running on the latest rubber will the 103/200mm cars on rubber even keep up now with the F104/180mm cars on the new Pits Shimz?
Might be ok to run them both together now? That would be awesome if they were comparable.
If the same width tires were run on all of the different chassis, 200mm and 180mm as suggested a couple posts back, the rear of the 200mm cars would need to be widened to remain 200mm. Advantage? Who knows? As of now, those cars when running the same tires would be 180mm rear and still 200mm front which is why the front ends get changed to the F104 type in order to narrow them to 180mm.
Racer X1 I remember those days at West Coast when the WD 40 was gluing the cars down, the foam was almost a disadvantage, they basically did not work to their full potential and the rubber was not far off the pace. Generally this is not the case tho and the foams will destroy the rubber cars.

F103 on rubber is still faster than the F104 on rubber, Tire choice of course is still king with all pan cars. Run everything and I mean EVERYTHING(10 -15 F1 cars) every week out doors on ashphalt. F103 is still easier to go fast and handles better even with spec rubber.
The reason I ask is because with the new Pit Shimizu combo on my F104, that thing is a bullet now. I never had my F103 running this well on rubber but only tried Ride A's and Superions and it was only ok at best. Had a set of Tamiya A's that were very good but those are now gone and that's another story. With foams, game over for the 104.

There has to be a way to get my road wizard back on the track. I think the only heavy parts on it was the stickers.
