Right now this is only an idea but me and martin crisp might head down for this race as well. I have come to the realization MOD rubber will not be part of any BIG race in the near future besides IIC so maybe i'll have to give this 13.5 stuff a try.
Hoping we can make it out, this format sounds fun!

hi guys,

Corey, it would be awsome if you and Martin could make it. Martin is back in full stride and looked great at the IIC. 13.5 is still plenty fast when your are racing head to head, you wont even think it is not as fast as mod. And with this format, it is just so much fun.

Thanks Kraig. Yes friday is practice only. all racing is Sat and Sun.

New Protoform R9R body is legal for this event.

Kraig are you going to be able to make it?

See you guys soon.

Would love to make it out for this race.. No one to go with and my uncle is getting married that weekend. I can't believe he's getting married during racing season :-/

Will have them posted this week.

As boomer said Roar 13.5

Great Drew is going to strap on some Rubberz to run with us ( dont get stupid guys) It will be great having Drew here for this event.

EA also mentioned at the IIC that he might be able to make it. if his schedule worked out. That would be great!

Wonder if Brad Johnson will be able to run?

Maybe I can Bribe my new team mate to wrench on my ride so I can run?

Really looking forward to this and hope that everyone can spread the word and make this a great event.

Would be awesome to have Mike Haynes and Larry Fairtrace make the trip. We will have to wait and see.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Thanks
Scotty

Your new teammate would rather start fresh and build you a new kit.......lol

When ROAR makes the 17.5 a stock motor next year, will you make this race a 17.5 class?.......... I'm a little confused on the rule with 13.5 BL being a stock motor now.

Thanks

13.5 is pretty much what we use for our stock class at Trackside. A 17.5 is pretty much used for our sportsman class. Most touring car drivers around here I think prefer the 13.5 over the 17.5.

Since there is only one class (and motor) at this race the motor has to appeal to a wide range of drivers... I think 13.5 is the best choice

Might see if I can make this one. My schedule is pretty full but I really had a good time at this race last year.

If I say yes then I would probably scare people away. If I say no then everyone will show up. Now for those that would show up if I did say yes then you need some serious help.

Seriously, I don't know yet. I am trying to find a baby sitter for all day Saturday and it isn't looking really good right now.

Is there any word yet on what the entry fee will be? I need to start working out the budget now.

What did it cost last year? just to give me a ballpark figure to work with.
