I will ask cannon for a discount for another one cause he is a very nice guy
Check that you do not have a faulty plug connecting the motor to ESC.

Although I do not see the connection between changing drag brake and the ESC not cogging

Check by putting pressure on each connection while pu;;img the trigger with ESC on. Sometimes they have a dry connection.

Also what was the ESC being run in?

kistner- I have been doing some testing trying to get a suitable brushless to replace silver cans in our clubs stock touring class. I was given a hobby wing ecs by one of our heli guys and found some 380 size ducted fan brushless motors to bolt up to an evo 4.

I tried a 4W High-End brushless motor, that spun at 2250 KV a little less than a 17.5 EZRUN 2400KV and it drove like a hot 19t motor.

I'd really like to try one of these motors mostly because it will bolt up so easily.

To this end, if you know where i can buy a an EZRUN 17.5 I'll gladly test it for you and report back. I looked every where and ended up at Hobby Wing and they want $55.00 USD+$22.00 USD shipping+$10.00 Bank fee. RC Market has 13.5 motor/esc/programcard combos for $70.00 USD. But no 17.5's

I"ll pay the money but if i could get it cheaper......Thanks

Ok, I did some more testing and A B C are hitting at the same time it is to my understanding that it should hit them in order over and over again. Also it gets to 55 celcius when plugged in to the motor (Motor works tested with another ESC

TBOTubed - I have only seen them bundled with the esc so far. search ebay for 'ezrun 17.5' and they will pop up.

TBOTubed - no prob, and if you wondered, tonight it will be dark out.

I sent a message to one of the guys selling the bundles to see if he'll sell just a motor, can't hurt.

I run a Novak 10.5 sensored with the 60A version with no problems at all. I did up the timing some and it really improved performance.
