Default timing

On the Tekmodel 60A esc, what does it do when you change the timing. I have left it alone for fear of messing something up. But if I change the timing will it make the motor faster. I am using a Novk 10.5.

Default very curious

I plan to run off road and need a system equal to run a 10.5, which do i look to get?

Also, is there a system to buy that will run a 1/8 buggy as an oval L8m?

i did gear the two cars at 7.8 and done 4 races,2 with each car.
to put it in simple words they did perform identically with only one difference, the ezrun is not as smooth like the sp gt from stop to start.
other than that the same
hard to believe but that was my impression.
would it be different on a bigger race track???i will find out next week on the 7 when i will race on a bigger track with a 5.8 ratio.
i am ordering another one for my F201 and DURGA

REGARDING THE VERSION OF THE EZRUN IT SAY V1.1

if you cooked the motor that'd do it.

Personally I think the ESC's are fairly solid besides that switch.

The Motors can get overheated if you put them in a larger rc (ie Traxxas Slash) or over/under gear them.

What ESC is it?
What motor were you running?
What motor is your friend running who is cogging?

The only problem I have seen is "cheap charlies" using the ESC beyond its use category

The majority of times you will have cogging issues running sensored motors without sensor wires with a sensorless ESC. Tekin had the same problem with the R1. And especially with motors from 10.5 upwards.

AS for the ESC stopping? I assume you didn't change any settings? Is the fan moving at normal speed or seem slow? If so, unwire the caps and see if it works. Hobbywing taught me this trick if it has a problem with the ESC not working.

I purchased an ezrun 35a/13t setup for my touring car while my SP stuff was away for warranty.

What a bargain.

Smooth, powerful enough, easy to use and set up and pretty competitive.
Ive run at 3 meetings now and so far so good. (Fingers crossed)

Of course it could go pop at any moment!!!

In case anyone is interested I run it at around 6fdr.

Ok the brushless dbx is ready!!!
I'll show you some pics to take an idea...
PLease note that the electronics are placed correctly but this is not the final installation. The final will be much better..
The power is PHENOMENAL it tear apart both the front tires and i couldn't give full throttle at any time.
The temperatures was the motor fairly hot (not hot enough though) and the esc cold.
Here are the pics:

Total cost was 200$ including battery motor and esc.
It was worth it every cent...!!!!
