The Losi was never successful / popular in Europe.

I think the 416 is the best touring car these days.
There must be a reason why this car is sold out
around the world! (BTW: i'm driving a TC5)

Losi is not a good choice!!! They have not done anything to make that car good how many people do you know that have the Type-R?

The 416 is by far the best TC on the planet right now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But I would like to see US manufactures make a TC that is on top again

I would say if you buy a TC and you don't have to buy upgrades to make it work then your on the right track. The TAO5 is perfict for the first time racer and you don't need to add hop ups to make it work, it is very easy to drive right out of the box and that is what a beginner needs, not hop ups that they don't know how to use and don't know what they are for.

Maybe we have still to waiting the release of Yokomo and Kyosho coming soon chassis. As we saw from the photos, their prototypes are sharp. Then we have to take the conclusion.
At least after the JMRCA super expert race.
But at the moment TRF416 is unbeatable.

or is it Red? (Stallion)

once you figure out your favorite color. and that color has more than one choice. eliminate choices by copying what the image above is doing.

once you decide ... go to www.speedtechrc.com and purchase your necessary parts.

Don't forget about this red car too, thats if it boils down to the color of the car that affects your decision. Speaking of which, how come there are no green touring cars?

I own three of them and they are all dialed. Jason Schreffler and Larry Fairtrace figured the car out when everyone else abandon it or just plain gave up on it. I have been working with those two for setups on mine and I would not drive anything else. Losi just is not doing any Pro drivers anymore so I guess you won't see them anywhere else but that does not make it a bad car.

Its funny I was just thinking the same thing about Losi. I just started trying to get back into racing and I used to own a lot of Losi so i automaticaly went looking for losi. Gil left and the only real team members are Drake and Truhe.. What is going on? Is team Losi going to folow the path of Traxas I just bought a 8IGHT and want a JRXSR but want to make sure that I will have some type of support. How is the team doing now?

well it comes down to what you like and all cars can be very competitive, and there is no real correct answer to which car is the best. it comes down to who is driving the car and how the car is setup.

Where I race, we have about every car represented. From Corally, Schumacher, Xray, Losi, and Tamiya, and each car/driver is more than capable of winning a race on any given day.

Like FX said, it all comes down to driver and setup.

The biggest factor should be parts support from your LHS.
