That looks like the right battery but it can be had for a lot less elsewhere on the net if that is where you do your shopping.

I'm looking for a LiPo that will do me well, but need to know the eternal question, what fits my 415MSX? That aluminum contour around the battery really sucks..

Apparently some say the SMC 4000 does, as does some of the Orions (3200, 3400) but all these others.. the Intellect/Trinity 3800 and Orion 3600/3800's.. how tall are they? What kind of grinding will be required? I'm really interested in the Trinity..

Thanks for any input!

Jamz... the 36/3800 style casing will NOT fit your MSX unless you dremel the aluminum contour of the bulkhead. (this is why the TCS rules were revised). some racers have dremeled that coutouring off to make it flat, and didnt feel any ill effects in handling.

The 3200 style case will fit, but you have it kinda slide it in differently.

Well, as long as I just have to flatten that bump and not require the removal of key parts, I'd be willing to do that.. Thanks for the input!

An Orion 3800 will fit in a MSXX I tryed one out. My trakpower 4900 on the other hand will not fit even if I dremeled the bump out.

oh im mistaken then. the conversation at the Tamiya track was someone stated that the 3600/3800 casing didnt fit the 415MSX generation cars without modification.

Does the Trinity come with a balancing tap or do you need to supply your own?

Also does it come with 4mm plugs for the power output?

Yes on the bullet connectors.....the pack has a port for balancing but does not come with any adaptors for your charger.
