Yes, the tires permitted for the rubber classes are as Mr Love mentioned. No limit on the number you can run.
After speaking with several racers who have raced rubber classes at many National events, this is what we came up with.
We've found that the rubber tire wear on carpet is so minimal, that restricting the number of sets isn't necessary. We also felt giving racers a choice of three tires would be beneficial due to availability in different areas, sponsorship obligations, or just personal preference.
There's a delicate balance when making the rules. You don't want to be so restrictive that some manufacturers or racers will feel slighted or left out, but you also don't want a free-for-all either.
If some issue arises where we feel the rules need to be adjusted, we will be happy to look at it. Our ultimate goal is to get people racing together in this area on a more regular basis, as we feel everyone will benefit from it.
